Taillights

This is "Punch" showing off his new taillights.

The taillights may be mounted on either the inside or the outside of the rear wheels. I had originally mounted them on the outside, but this makes the trikke wider than it already is and the protruding lights susceptible to damage. With the taillights mounted on the inside of the rear wheels, they are not only protected from damage while riding, but they tuck away neatly when the trikke is folded.

I used Profile Designs Universal Computer Mount to mount the taillight to the rear fork. This setup is similar to that which I use on my KMX Xclass. I have since discovered another Universal Computer Mount made by Issimo Design, but I have not had a chance to try this one for comparisson. I mounted the taillight with the switch on top for ease of use.

This inexpensive taillight from Bike Nashbar is well suited to attaching to Universal Computer Mounts and I have found these to be extremely bright and very reliable. For additional details click here ...
